About the role

Overview

Position: Systems Accountant

Location: Aberdeen

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Accountant to support finance systems, process improvements, and project implementations within a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

Provide support for finance systems and month-end activities
Troubleshoot financial system issues and coordinate solutions
Support SAP FI/CO/JV enhancements and system improvements
Participate in finance-related transformation and project activities
Improve reporting processes and automated reporting solutions
Deliver user training and support
Ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness

Required Experience

Extensive SAP ERP experience, including SAP FI/CO/JV
Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Experience supporting ERP system implementations and enhancements
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Previous Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
