Ground Maintenance Operative Start Date: ASAP Basic Pay Rate: £13.83                                                                                            Working Days: Monday to Friday                                                                              Working Hours: 07:00am – 03:00pm with early finish on Friday   Role Overview Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the local council. This will be an ongoing contract for the summer period, ending in October. Key Responsibilities: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as well as maintaining and watering plants Removing litter and debris to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment Operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment and tools Collaborating with team members to prioritise tasks Requirements: Previous experience in grounds maintenance Ability to drive and operate mowers and other machinery Physically fit and reliable Ability to work early mornings and outdoors in all weather  Why Pertemps?  We’re a trusted recruitment partner, connecting talented people with opportunities that match their ambitions/lifestyle.
