CNC Setter/Operator Location: Sittingbourne Salary: Up to £18 per hour Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week) About the Role: Our Client is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Setter (Milling) to join their modern engineering facility in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing business with consistent workload, structured processes, and regular overtime available. Working within a high‑volume, precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines while ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency across production. Key Responsibilities: * Set and operate CNC milling machines * Work with 3‑axis and 5‑axis machinery * Load programs, set up jobs and run production efficiently * Follow structured processes to maintain consistent quality standards * Monitor production output and ensure components meet specifications * Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment About You: * Strong Manufacturing/Production Background * Knowledge of CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens (Desirable) * Practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail * Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow structured procedures * Team player with a consistent and conscientious work ethic What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate (£15 – £18 DOE) * Regular overtime available every week * Time and a half rates * Double time available after qualifying hours * Modern, clean working environment * Stable, long‑term opportunity within a growing business This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in producing high‑quality components.
