Shifts: Monday to Friday
Overtime: Paid at 1.5 & 2.0

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join a growing national engineering provider in Kent. Working on a wide range of equipment, including MEWPs, van mounts and forklifts, they welcome experienced powered access or heavy plant engineers, with CAP experience desirable.

About the Role – Workshop Powered Access Engineer
As a Workshop Powered Access Engineer, you will be workshop-based, responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of powered access equipment to ensure machinery is safe, compliant and ready for hire.
Your duties will include:

Routine maintenance, servicing and repair of powered access equipment
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
Carrying out PDI inspections on new and returned hire equipment
Completing LOLER inspections
Ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant and ready for hire
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and serviceWhat You’ll Need to Succeed as a Workshop Powered Access Engineer

Previous experience working on powered access or plant equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A passion for delivering high standards of service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience as a Workshop Powered Access Engineer or Plant Engineer (essential)
Full UK driving licenceDesirable:

IPAF and CAP qualifications
NVQ qualification or equivalent
CAP Engineers or engineers from a heavy plant backgroundNext Steps
