We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chef Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.
As a CHEF MANAGER you'll
Manage the day-to-day catering and vending operation, ensuring excellent food quality and customer satisfaction at all times.
Plan, prepare, and present meals to company and client standards, ensuring service is delivered efficiently and professionally.
Ensure all dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed correctly and safely.
Lead, support, and motivate catering staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Monitor financial performance, including stock control, purchasing, payroll, and weekly trading reports to achieve budget and profit targets.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, health & safety regulations, and audit requirements.
Organise and support hospitality catering and special events when required.
Build positive working relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
Support wider site operations by assisting management and covering operational requirements when needed.
Protect company assets, stock, equipment, and cash handling processes through effective security and control measures
What we're looking for
Strong catering management experience with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and compliance procedures.
Good financial awareness, including budgeting, stock management, payroll, and cost control.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and support staff.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, customers, and colleagues.
Good organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Computer literacy and confidence completing reports, payroll, and administrative tasks.
A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
Commitment to maintaining quality standards, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
