About the role

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual looking to grow your administrative career within a supportive and professional environment? We are working on behalf of our client, a not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Membership Administrator, you will learn the membership function, in conjunction with the training department and help maintain and increase membership.    This position is based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Please note that due to the location, the site is not accessible via public transport, so access to your own vehicle is essential.    What’s on offer: A salary between £26,500 to £27,500 depending on experience A discretionary annual bonus based on company performance 35 days' holiday including Bank Holidays and Christmas Shut Down Earlier finishes on Fridays at 4pm Free car parking  Your daily duties will: To administer the process for the recruitment and retention of members, including providing the numbers to the Office Manager to analyse the data relevant to these processes To issue membership subscription letters in a timely manner in coordination with the Finance Manager To issue membership surveys, both to collect the data for the database and other purposes as required As and when required, to help the financial department regarding membership issues Prepare membership applications for review by senior management To learn the CRM system in relation to membership and keep it up to date To learn and assist with day-to-day administration activities relevant to membership and or training as and when required To answer the telephone and direct calls to the appropriate department To carry out any special projects that arise from time to time To support our sister company with the claiming of NVQ certificates – full training will be given To process the applications for CSCS cards and monitor, record and report uptake  As the Membership Administrator, you will have: Previous experience working within an administrative position Good communication skills - both written and verbal Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and working to deadlines Confident in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Willingness to learn and contribute to a small, supportive team Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to rural location)
