About the role

Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer Contract | UK Remote | Inside IR35 | Up to £600/day Immediate starter required. Experis are supporting a client with an urgent short-term contract requirement for a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to provide BAU infrastructure support while a member of their internal team moves onto a wider project. The client needs someone who can start on 1st July, pick things up quickly and provide confident hands-on support across a broad Microsoft infrastructure environment. The role: You'll be supporting BAU infrastructure activity across Microsoft cloud, EUC, server and core infrastructure services. This is not a project delivery role, the focus is keeping BAU moving, resolving issues, supporting users and internal IT teams, and helping maintain service stability. Key skills: Strong BAU infrastructure support experience Microsoft 365 Azure / Entra ID Active Directory / Group Policy Intune / MECM / SCCM Windows Server VMware / Hyper-V Citrix, SQL, backups or MFT experience would be useful Confident troubleshooting and stakeholder communication Contract details: Start date: 1st July Duration: 3 Months Location: UK Remote Rate: Up to £600/day IR35: Inside IR35 On-call: None This would suit an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer or strong 3rd Line Engineer who is available immediately and comfortable working independently in a broad BAU environment.
