Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Wendover Salary: Up to £35k Are you an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career with a well-established family-owned residential contractor? Our client is a highly regarded SME developer with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential schemes across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some construction or surveying experience who is keen to progress their career within a supportive environment. Graduates and Trainee Quantity Surveyors with a relevant qualification will also be considered. Responsibilities: * Assisting with subcontractor procurement and tender analysis. * Supporting the commercial management of residential developments. * Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports. * Assisting with cost planning and budget control. * Supporting the preparation of final accounts. * Working closely with site, technical and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: * Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. * Previous construction industry experience preferred. * Strong numerical and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and organisational abilities. * Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn.
