Electrical Project Engineer

M&E Project Engineer - Electrical Bias Location: West Yorkshire Salary: £50,000-£65,000 per annum + package, depending on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Project Engineer with a strong electrical background to join a growing M&E business in West Yorkshire. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish and has a strong understanding of electrical and wider M&E project delivery. The Role As an M&E Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing projects through the full lifecycle, working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing and re-evaluating projects against initial estimates Procuring materials and managing the buying process Developing and maintaining project programmes Overseeing site delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency Managing health and safety compliance Preparing valuations and managing variations, including pricing Managing projects through to final account and handover Supporting the estimating function during busy periods where required Taking ownership of project delivery from commencement through to completion About You The successful candidate will have: A strong electrical background with a good understanding of full M&E delivery Previous experience delivering M&E projects within the construction or building services sector Proven experience managing projects from start to finish Strong commercial awareness, including valuations and variations Good procurement and project programming experience Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work independently The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing business and take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects.
