Fitter/Service Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role Salary: £35,000 Location: Castleford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours – Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm & Friday 8.15am - 1.45pm Responsibilities of the Fitter/Service Support * De-contamination of pump units * Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition * Identification of spare parts required from drawings * Mechanical measurements of components * Electrical inspection, assembly and testing of pumps * Assisting within other departments when required Requirements for a successful Fitter/Service Support * Confined space training * Overhead crane, Lifting & slinging operator licence * Water Hygiene qualified * Full clean driving license * Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar or time served * Experience in Electric motor & control equipment * Fault finding skills * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Forklift licenses About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
