Are you a Technical Manager, Materials Engineer, Metallurgist or similar with experience in plant integrity, inspection and life assessment?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist engineering consultancy operating within the power and process industries, providing technical expertise across plant integrity, inspection, stress analysis and life assessment. The company works with major industrial clients across the UK and internationally and has built a strong reputation within its specialist field.
In this role you will take a lead technical position, carrying out technical plant integrity and life assessment work while supporting clients and projects from assessment through to completion. You will have the flexibility to work hybrid between home and the office, with flexible working hours designed to provide a better work-life balance around project requirements.
This role would suit an Technical Manager, Materials Engineer, Metallurgist or Mechanical Engineer with a background in fossil power generation, CCGT, coal-fired power stations, refining or process plant, looking to take a senior technical position within a specialist consultancy.
The Role:
Leading and delivering technically complex plant integrity, inspection and life assessment projects, particularly involving high-temperature and ageing plant
Producing engineering assessments, technical reports and recommendations while providing specialist technical advice to clients
Supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals and helping to develop new business opportunities within the plant integrity and life assessment field
Providing technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers when required, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and supporting projects from delivery through to completion
The Person:
Technical Manager, Materials Engineer, Metallurgist, Mechanical Engineer or similar with relevant industry experience
Background in fossil power generation, CCGT, coal-fired power stations, refining or process plant
Commutable to Surrey
