About the role

Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. As a Police Constable AFO St Fergus, you will join a 24/7 armed response unit, patrolling nuclear sites and facilities, and working with local Home Office forces to keep communities safe.

New recruits undergo a 19-week firearms training; transferees with AFO/ARV can undertake a condensed 4-week course. After probation you may specialise in areas such as Dog Handler or Strategic Escort Group.
