Design Engineer (Mechanical)

White Label is currently working with an established engineering business specialising in bulk material handling solutions in their search for a Design Engineer. The business has seen rapid growth in recent years, resulting in a significant increase in design workload and exciting opportunities for skilled engineers. The Role You will join a small, friendly design team to work across all stages of project development, with roughly 50/50 split between concept design and detailed engineering: * Produce 3D layouts and system concepts * Create flow diagrams and define specifications * Detailed design of steel structures, brackets, and secondary steelwork * Generate GA drawings and assembly drawings for machinery and systems * Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing, and installation teams * Occasional site visits, if keen to be involved on-site The Person * Strong 3D CAD capability in Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks) * Experience in design of - steel/structural bulk material handling, conveyors, or mechanical handling systems * Keen to learn, hands-on, and genuinely interested in engineering solutions * Accurate, patient, and capable of visualising systems in 3D * Strong problem-solving skills, good IT literacy, and the ability to work under pressure in a small team Salary & Benefits * £30,000 – £45,000 per year, dependent on experience * Monday to Friday - 8:00am – 5:00pm with 1-hour lunch * Flexible working options / hybrid working available (some team members work 3 days from home) * Opportunity to join a growing business and take ownership of varied, high-volume design projects
