and much more Join our team as Tenancy Enforcement Officer Are you passionate about helping people feel safe in their homes and communities? As a Tenancy Enforcement Officer at our housing association, you will play a key role in protecting our customers and neighbourhoods by tackling anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches. This is a specialist tenancy enforcement role focused on preparing housing-related cases for legal action when all other interventions have been exhausted. Working closely with customers, colleagues, Legal Services and partner agencies, you will gather evidence, prepare witness statements and progress cases through the legal process to help resolve issues that have a significant impact on residents and communities. You'll bring a fair, balanced and customer-focused approach, ensuring every case is handled professionally, sensitively and in line with our commitment to equality, inclusion and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare case files, witness statements and supporting evidence for legal action relating to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted within agreed timescales to support legal proceedings. Keep customers, witnesses and reporters informed of progress, providing updates and support throughout the legal process. Gather, review and organise evidence to ensure cases are suitable for legal action and meet required standards. Work collaboratively with Legal Services, support agencies and internal colleagues to achieve timely outcomes for customers and communities. Represent the organisation in court where appropriate, with support from Legal Services. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work and contribute to safe, sustainable neighbourhoods. What you'll need to succeed Experience managing cases involving anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches or other housing-related enforcement matters. Experience preparing witness statements, evidence packs and cases for legal action. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with a wide range of customers and stakeholders. A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally, fairly and respectfully. Good knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation, tenancy enforcement powers and legal remedies available to housing providers. Strong digital and IT skills, including experience using Microsoft applications and managing case records electronically. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of accessible communication and individual support needs.
