About the role

Assembly Operator Location: Worcestershire Salary: £12.72–£13.48 per hour DOE Hours: 39 hours per week, days with a 1pm Friday finish Job Type: Full-time, Permanent An established engineering manufacturer is seeking an Assembly Operator to join its busy production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, engineering, quality inspection or a similar environment. You’ll work with components and products to high standards, using basic technical drawings and small hand tools. Key Responsibilities * Assemble, mask, seal and finish components to required standards * Read and follow basic technical and engineering drawings * Use small hand tools and production equipment safely * Check work for quality, accuracy and finish * Work to production deadlines and maintain high standards * Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment About You * Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, engineering, quality or a similar hands-on environment * Able to read and understand basic technical or engineering drawings * Comfortable using small hand tools * Good attention to detail and accuracy * Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment * Reliable, proactive and willing to learn * Good verbal and written communication skills Benefits * £12.72–£13.48 per hour depending on experience * Overtime available at enhanced rates of up to £26.96 per hour * Full-time, permanent position * On-the-job training and career development * Company pension scheme * Cycle-to-work scheme * Health & wellbeing programme * Free on-site parking * Life assurance * Referral programme * Up to 33 days' holiday after 5 years * 1pm Friday finish Apply now to find out more about this opportunity
