Highway Works Manager Bedfordshire £450 - £500 per day 6 month contract initially Are you an experienced Highway Works Manager looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Works Manager with experience in major projects to join a client in Bedfordshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available.   Your main duties include: ·Manage delivery resources to ensure successful completion of capital construction projects up to £500k. ·Manage health, safety, environment and quality undertakings to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards. ·Work with the Programme Manager and Client to define the Annual Plan/ Contractor's Plan for the portfolios and deliver against these commitments. ·Manage the delivery phase of the scheme   Essential requirements: ·Experience of managing construction schemes operational resources ·New roads and streetworks supervisor experience ·SMSTS qualified ·Relevant academic construction/project management qualifications ·Knowledge of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs manual ·Working understanding of Microsoft 365, Asta, Confirm   About you: Previous experience in highways is essential for this role.   In order to be considered within the first round of applicants please apply with updated CV, emailing (url removed).
