Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join their permanent team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various water utility projects and ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of electrical services. Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and fault-finding activities Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive remedial works Install, modify, repair, and replace electrical equipment including switch gear, distribution boards, containment, cabling, motors, controls, and associated systems Diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation Support commissioning and functional testing activities Ensure all works comply with BS 7671, ECS procedures, and client technical standards Complete site documentation including RAMS, permits, inspection records, test certificates, and commissioning sheets Job Requirements: Recognised electrical qualification essential (Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ECS / JIB Gold Card or equivalent industry-recognised competency card Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure electrical works Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and safe isolation procedures Experience in maintenance, fault finding, and installation works Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Strong understanding of health and safety requirements Good communication and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity to work on a variety of essential and impactful water utility projects Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Employee benefits package If you are a qualified Electrician with experience in the water sector and are looking for a new opportunity to develop your career, we would love to hear from you.
