Contract: ContractLocation: Hybrid: London, Waterloo - 3 Days + 2 Days RemotePay: c.700 per day PAYEConsultant: Joe MooreExciting opportunity for a Trading Application Production Support Specialist to join a world-leading Energy Trading company as part of their Front Office.This is a hands-on role within the Derivatives team, working with fellow developers and engineers to identifity system issues and enhance the IT’s overall business potential.Hybrid: London, Waterloo – 3 Days per Week + 2 Days RemoteRate: c.700 per day PAYERequirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience supporting production front office trading applications.
• Understanding of Commodity Trading & Capital Markets
• Minimum of 1 years experience supporting FIX flows to exchanges or client side fix.
• Strong technical skills in scripting, Python or other programming languages
• Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflow, settlement, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading technology and workflow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and propose innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS software vendors. (e.g., TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, TradingScreen)
• Experience of Algo regulation, audit and compliance & RTS6) is highly desirableRole Overview:As Production Support Engineer , you will be a hands-on Engineer and be a member of a small high performing, team responsible for global derviatives trading production environments. Your work will be driven both by trading teams, product teams but also engineering teams. Work includes –
• Trouble shooting and identifying the root cause of key issues in the trading environment.
• Rapid incident response to maintain continuous trading operations, turning quick fixes into robust, scalable solutions
• Proactive system monitoring and troubleshooting, owning reliability improvements and ensuring their successful delivery
• Ensure proactive management of critical end—to-end workflows, continuously improving stability and resilience through close collarabituon with delivery and infrastructure teams
• Serve as an subject matter expert for trading systems initiatives.
