Description

The Corporate Legal Director will be:

• Working on complex corporate transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate reorganisations and public takeovers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad portfolio of clients.
• Taking responsibility for managing matters efficiently while delivering exceptional client service.
• Mentoring junior members of the corporate team.
• Working with partners on business development initiatives and networking activities.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm on multidisciplinary matters.
• Playing a key role in the continued success and growth of the corporate practice

Profile

The Corporate Legal Director should be:

• A solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in corporate law.
• Experienced in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate reorganisations.
• Managing complex, high value transactions with minimal supervision.
• An accomplished relationship builder with excellent client management skills.
• Experienced in supervising and developing junior lawyers.
• Commercially minded with strong business development experience.
• An excellent communicator with outstanding drafting and negotiation skills.
• Looking to progress within a large, highly respected corporate team.

Job Offer

• Salary: £100,000 to £115,000 plus bonus
• 26 days of holiday leave.
