We are looking for a Procurement Manager for a well established manufacturing business in Coventry. The role takes ownership of all procurement across the business, covering direct materials and indirect goods and services. If you enjoy a strategic hands on role, alongside leading and developing a team, this could be a a good fit for you!

Job Description

Lead the end-to-end purchasing strategy across direct and indirect goods
Source, develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, contracts and agreements
Drive cost reduction, risk management and continuous improvement
Work cross-functionally to support new product introduction, cost reduction and budget targets
Lead and develop the purchasing team.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Proven experience with strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation and development
Experience working within the automotive sector
Experience leading or developing team members
Commercially focused, resilient and comfortable making evidence-based decisions
