Pay: £16.00–£20.00 per hour (PAYE)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Overtime: Available on Fridays

Job Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client's team and support the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy industrial machinery and equipment.

This is a key position within the business, with an immediate requirement for someone who can help maintain the reliability, safety and performance of equipment across the site.

The successful candidate will be a practical, hands-on engineer with strong mechanical maintenance skills and experience working with large machine tools, overhead cranes and associated industrial systems.

A reasonable level of electrical competence is desirable, alongside practical experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, identify equipment failures and carry out effective repairs.
• Maintain, repair and service large machine tools and heavy industrial machinery.
• Maintain and repair overhead cranes, crane mechanisms and associated equipment.
