HVAC Engineer

Astute's Power team is partnering with a UK subcontractor to recruit a HVAC Engineer on a 6-month contract for its Scotland site.

The HVAC Engineer role comes with a competitive rate per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and coordination of all HVAC systems during the installation, commissioning, and handover phases. Review and manage.
• Support site construction activities by resolving technical queries, conducting inspections, monitoring installation progress, and coordinating interfaces with mechanical, electrical, process, civil, and C&I disciplines.
• Lead HVAC commissioning and start–up activities, including review of commissioning procedures, witnessing testing, troubleshooting issues, and verifying system performance against design requirements.
• Manage technical risks, design changes, and project interfaces to ensure HVAC works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality requirements.
• Work closely with the existing construction and electrical teams.
