Hampshire County Council are looking for an experience Tribunal EHCco for their team in Winchester.
Day rate : £400 umbrella
3 month contract initially - possible extension
Hybrid role
Must have significant experience in representing the Local Authority at Tribunal hearings, as well as excellent legal knowledge.

- The Tribunal Officer's primary focus is the preparation for and attendance at SEND Tribunal hearings, acting as the Local Authority's representative in appeals relating to Education, Health and Care Plans. Day to day, the role involves reviewing case papers and evidence, liaising with SEN colleagues, schools, legal representatives and partner agencies, preparing witnesses, developing hearing strategies and representing the Local Authority at hearings.
- The post holder will provide advice and support on Tribunal processes and evidential requirements, help resolve disputes where appropriate, and share learning from Tribunal outcomes to support service improvement.
