Teaching Assistant in Alternative Provision SEMH TA - Bedford, Bedfordshire - Primary AP - Immediate start - £90-£115 per day depending on experience - Trialling next week Have you got experience working with children with SEMH and SEN? Tradewind Recruitment are currently partnered with a secondary Alternative Provision school on the outskirts of Bedford who are looking for an experienced and resilient teaching assistant to join their team! ***SEMH TA - Alternative Provision ***Bedford, Bedfordshire ***Immediate start ***Long term role until the end of July with the possibility of extending into the new academic year ***Must have experience working with SEN or SEMH students About the school - SEMH TA - Bedford, Bedfordshire This alternative provision caters to primary ages pupils, normally KS2, allowing them to learn in smaller groups in a more supportive and holistic environment. Their facilities include a kitchen, classrooms, a recreation and contemplation area for students, a music room, and a one-on-one room where students can discuss any concerns they are having with teachers. Class sizes are capped at 6 and the role of TA here will be to support the whole class as well as to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups of 2-4. The curriculum also includes a range of unaccredited programs that students can participate in during the year, such as enrichment projects.
