About the Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged to reach their potential. You'll create a positive, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and support staff will be key to ensuring the best outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Assess and track progress, providing feedback to support pupil development.
Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Work closely with teaching assistants and parents to support learning.
Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding practices.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early learning approaches.
Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
