Workshop Repair Technician

I am pleased to be representing an industry leading company who are on the lookout for a Workshop Repair Technician…. In this position your role will be to maintain Plant equipment ensuring equipment is in pristine condition. This would be a great opportunity for anyone with plant experience or previous mechanics experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 17:00pm Benefits for the Workshop Repair Technician * 20 days + BH and Christmas shut down * Free onsite parking * Opportunity for progression * Employee assistance scheme (after probation) Role of Workshop Repair Technician * Working on Plant equipment and repairing with light mechanical work * Body alterations and repairs to plant equipment * Inspecting returned equipment to identify damage, wear or faults. * Spot welding * Carrying out repairs, servicing, refurbishment and general maintenance * Working to daily schedules and prioritising repairs to meet customer deadlines. Experience of the Workshop Repair Technician * Mechanical/hands on experience * Hands on individual with the willingness to get stuck in * Confident using hand and power tools. * Can do attitude * Previous mechanics experience * Experience working on plant equipment or vehicles (desirable)
