Civils Site Manager

We’re Hiring: Project Manager (Earthworks & Remediation) Are you a proactive leader with a solid background in earthworks and remediation? An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of exciting projects across West Yorkshire. As Project Manager, you will be the driving force on-site, ensuring high Health & Safety standards are maintained while maximising operational efficiency. Key Roles & Responsibilities: * Manage all site Health & Safety, including RAMS, permits, and daily briefings * Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and plant (PUWER/LOLER compliance) * Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards * Provide clear direction, leadership, and motivation to site teams * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders What You’ll Need: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong track record * In-depth knowledge of earthworks, remediation, and land contamination * Strong understanding of soil and water contamination * SMSTS, First Aid, and Level 6 NVQ (or equivalent); degree preferred * Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and project management software What’s on Offer: * £55,000 – £75,000 DOE * Retention bonus * Car allowance & fuel card * Laptop & mobile phone * 25 days holiday (increasing with service) * Pension & volunteering policy * Genuine opportunities for career progression
