THE COMPANYA Series C fintech (18m ARR, 80+ team) with a clear runway to profitability and an FCA-authorised product live in the UK and EU. Tier-1 investors, modern engineering culture, central London office.THE ROLEHands-on Finance Manager owning the day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, with a clear, written succession plan to FC inside 18 months.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Own the monthly close (target: working day 5) and produce the management accounts pack.• Lead a team of three (Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, AP Lead).• Manage the year-end audit process with the external auditors.• Partner with the commercial team on the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.• Drive automation of the finance stack (Xero NetSuite migration starts Q2).• Own regulatory financial reporting to the FCA.RequirementsESSENTIAL• ACA / ACCA qualified, 2–4 years PQE.• Audit-trained (Big 4 or top-10 firm).• Strong technical accounting under IFRS.• Experience in a high-growth fintech, SaaS or scale-up environment.• Comfortable being hands-on while developing a small team.DESIRABLE• Prior exposure to FCA reporting.• NetSuite implementation experience.• Advanced Excel / SQL.WHAT'S ON OFFER• Base salary 70,000 – 85,000.• 15% bonus + EMI share options.• Clear path to Financial Controller within 18 months.• Private medical (Vitality), enhanced parental leave, 26 days holiday + your birthday off.• Hybrid — 2 days in the London (Old Street) office.• 1,000 annual L&D budget + paid CPD.PROCESSConsultant intro call with FC technical task on-site with CFO and a peer offer.
