- £150,000 Permanent role Hybrid role ASAP Start available Our client, a large and complex organisation, is seeking an experienced Head of Organisational Design to lead enterprise-wide organisational design across the business.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping how the organisation is designed to deliver its long-term objectives.

Working closely with Executive stakeholders, HR, Transformation and Business Leaders, you will drive organisation-wide design initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness, operating models and workforce capability.

This is not a role focused on redesigning individual functions or departments.

Instead, you will lead large-scale, enterprise-wide organisational design, ensuring the business is structured to meet future strategic priorities and organisational change.

The Opportunity As the Head of Organisational Design, you will lead a team of Organisational Design specialists, providing strategic direction while partnering with senior leaders across the organisation.

You'll be responsible for developing organisational design principles, leading complex transformation programmes, and ensuring the organisation's structure, governance and operating model enable sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead the organisation's enterprise-wide Organisational Design strategy.

Develop and implement organisational design frameworks, methodologies and governance.

Partner with Executive Leadership and senior stakeholders to shape future organisational structures and operating models.

Lead large-scale organisational transformation initiatives across multiple business areas.

Manage and develop a team of Organisational Design professionals, providing coaching, direction and leadership.

Ensure organisational design decisions align with business strategy, workforce planning and change management objectives.

Use organisational data, workforce analytics and business insight to inform design recommendations.

Influence senior stakeholders and challenge existing thinking to drive organisational effectiveness.

Work closely with HR, Transformation, Finance and Business leaders to successfully deliver strategic change programmes.

Champion continuous improvement and best practice in organisational design.

About You We're looking for an experienced Organisational Design leader who has operated within large, complex organisations and is comfortable influencing at Executive level.

You'll bring: Significant experience leading enterprise-wide Organisational Design initiatives.

A proven background delivering large-scale organisational transformation across complex organisations.

Previous experience managing and developing Organisational Design teams, with direct line management responsibility.

Strong knowledge of organisational design methodologies, operating model design and organisational effectiveness.

Experience partnering with Executive and C-suite stakeholders.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.

Strong analytical skills with experience using organisational data to support design decisions.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Experience Experience within a large corporate, public sector or highly matrixed organisation.

Experience supporting major business transformation programmes.

Knowledge of workforce planning and strategic people transformation.

Relevant qualification in HR, Organisational Development, Business or a related discipline.
