About the role

Technical Sales Engineer South West region (Office/Field based covering the South West with visits to our offices in Stroud) The Company Labquip NDT are distributors of non-destructive testing (NDT) and elemental analysis equipment and products. We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 39 hours per week over five days. Competitive base salary DOE - Company car or car allowance with mileage package - Company pension contribution - 21 days annual leave, increasing with length of service (up to 28 days) This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated technical sales or engineering professional with ultrasonic knowledge and expertise in material science or NDT equipment to develop their career with our growing company. The Role As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will create sales opportunities for our NDT equipment product ranges with businesses across the South West, with a key focus on providing technical consultations. Specifically, you will develop sales of our ultrasonic thickness gauges, flaw detectors and probes, UV inspection lights, and handheld XRF, developing and managing relationships with new and existing customers, and identifying growth opportunities within accounts. Working with four counterpart UK Sales Engineers, Service Engineers, and Technical Specialists, you will seek to drive business expansion and customer satisfaction. Provide expert sales and technical support to both new and existing customers - Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand accounts About You To be considered as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need: - At least three years experience in a technical sales or engineering role - Knowledge of material science and/or NDT equipment - Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in CRM/ERP systems - A full, valid driving licence Ideally, the successful candidate will live within the GL postcode to facilitate travel to our offices and across your assigned region.
