Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Kitchen Porter to cover holiday for a Medical Laboratory in Witney, Oxfordshire. Role: Temporary Kitchen Porter (Holiday Cover) Location: Witney, Oxfordshire Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:00) Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter: Preparing and traying up bulk food items Carrying out basic vegetable preparation Helping with general food preparation as required Checking and storing food deliveries correctly Following food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures Keeping the kitchen, equipment and service areas clean and tidy Checking and recording food temperaturesAbout you: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organised Good communication skills to report safety issues and work as a team A positive attitude and willingness to take on different tasks as needed Understanding of proper uniform and hygiene standards in a food service settingNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification we have listed.
