Are you an experienced Technical Engineering Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex fit-out, construction, and automation projects from concept through to completion? Do you thrive on managing multi-million-pound engineering projects? Have you project experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget?
Were seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineering Project Manager to join the Engineering and Automation Services Department at GXO Logistics. Reporting within the Engineering function, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of client-side fit-out and construction projects, ranging in value, from inception through to completion
This is a full-time, permanent role, working hours of Monday to Friday. The role would suit for someone based in the Midlands area, with travel to our Northampton head-office & also UK wide

What youll do on a typical day:
Build strong relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to drive successful project delivery and strategic objectives.
Serve as the technical and engineering subject matter expert, providing specialist guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead project feasibility studies, business case development, and budget planning to ensure commercially viable solutions.
Conduct detailed building and site surveys, producing comprehensive condition assessments and recommendations.
Develop high-quality technical specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation to support supplier selection and project execution.
What you need to succeed at GXO
Demonstrable construction and project management experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, or industrial sectors.
Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership teams.
Experience undertaking commercial building surveys and due diligence assessments.
Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional overnight stays. xwzovoh
