Salary: £29,725 - £37,527 per annum (Pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications (24-32 PayScale)
Hours: 22 hours per week

Inspire and shape the next generation of Early Years educators at Stamford College.
In this busy and exciting role, you will contribute effectively to creating successful learning experiences for students across the College's Early Years programs.
You will deliver high-quality teaching, assessment, and internal verification across courses ranging from Level 1 to 4.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and managers, you will play a key role in supporting the learner journey, ensuring high levels of student retention, achievement, and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess on a range of Early Years courses from Level 1 to Level 4.
- Prepare course materials, schemes of work, and group profiles prior to course start dates.
- Assess student work, provide timely constructive feedback, and set SMART progress targets.
- Conduct internal verification and moderation duties in line with quality processes.
- Deliver academic tutorials to guide student development and performance.
- Assist in securing, monitoring, and liaising with employers for student work experience placements.
- Collaborate on the design, development, management, and review of curriculum programs.
- Participate in student recruitment, open evenings, interviews, and course marketing.
- Embed English, maths, and Information Learning Technology (ILT) into all learning activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments in line with college procedures.
What we're looking for:
You will be an enthusiastic educator with extensive, recent industry experience in Early Years, coupled with an in-depth subject knowledge to teach Levels 1 to 4.
You hold a Level 3 or 4 minimum subject qualification, a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to achieve within 3 years), an Assessor Award, and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy. With exceptional communication skills, creative teaching strategies, and an ability to inspire learners, you thrive both independently and within a collaborative team.
