Teaching Assistant – Hull & East Riding Start Date: September 2026 Pay: £93 - £110 a day  Location: Hull Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? GSL Education Hull is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work across either Primary, Secondary, SEN, and alternative provision settings throughout Hull and the East Riding. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the classroom, working alongside teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You may provide one-to-one support, assist with small group interventions, and help students overcome barriers to learning. The Role as a Teaching Assistant: Support students with their learning and development. Work closely with classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons. Provide one-to-one and small group support where required. Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement. Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have: Previous experience working with children or young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach. Experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs is desirable. The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. What GSL Education Offers: Competitive daily rates of pay.
