Reference: SSH/AR/070262Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Competitive Location: East LondonSector: LawPosted: 2026-04-21An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established law firm known for delivering expert legal advice across multiple practice areas including property, family, litigation, and private client matters.As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including estate administration, probate, and Will drafting, while maintaining high standards of client care and professional service.This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits.You will be responsible for:Advising clients on matters such as wills, trusts, estate administration, and related inheritance tax issuesDrafting and reviewing legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant lawsRepresenting clients in negotiations to achieve favourable outcomesManaging a diverse caseload, maintaining attention to detailCommunicating effectively with third parties such as financial institutions, tax authorities, and other solicitorsStaying updated on changes in legislation and implementing best practicesProviding guidance on estate planning and tax strategiesWhat we are looking for:Previously worked as a Private Client Solicitor, Private Client Lawyer or in a similar role.Have at least 5 years of PQE.Experience in estate administration, including probate and intestacySkilled in applying for grants of representation and dealing with related inheritance tax returnsExpertise in Will drafting, including lasting powers of attorney for both finance and health & welfare mattersExperience in Court of Protection deputyship casesA strong understanding of private client law and relevant legislationThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor to take the next step in their career and work within a reputable firm that values client service.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
