Day-to-day of the role:

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will support the Council's response to a wide range of environmental issues, helping to keep Sheffield clean, safe and welcoming. The role involves working both independently and alongside experienced officers to investigate and resolve environmental problems.

This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive approach, the ability to work in challenging environments and a strong commitment to health and safety procedures.

• Respond to environmental problems including illegally dumped commercial and household waste, animal carcasses and other environmental hazards.
