Aspire People is currently seeking experienced Supply Secondary Teachers to join our team in Walsall starting in January 2026. Whether you're an experienced educator or someone new to supply teaching, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher with Aspire People, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of secondary schools in the Walsall area. Your role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will have the flexibility to work on your own terms, whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible supply work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering lessons in a range of subjects across the secondary curriculum
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring a positive learning environment
* Supporting students of various abilities and encouraging their academic development
* Reporting any concerns or issues to the school's leadership team
* Collaborating with school staff to ensure a smooth transition between teachers
About You:
We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals who are passionate about teaching and making a difference in the lives of young people. The ideal candidates will:
* Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it
* Have recent experience teaching secondary-aged students (preferably in the UK)
* Possess excellent classroom management skills
* Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of different schools and students
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo one
