Head of Service Delivery

Public Sector Headhunters 60,000 to 70,000 London Permanent Full-time With ambitious growth targets focused on delivering quality service to local people, our client is a Local Council seeking to recruit a Head of Service Delivery. The role will be responsible for implementing a significant increase in service delivery over the next 5 years and will be accountable for managing both in-house and external provider relationships. With excellent negotiation abilities, the successful candidate will achieve maximum efficiencies from the budget available without compromising on the quality of services delivered. There will be a major focus on provider performance and an expectation to commission the relevant services at the right time.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in public sector service delivery and a demonstrable track record of achieving economies of scale and efficiencies. Managing a team of 8 people, excellent communication and people management skills will be required. An ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines will be essential.
