What you'll be doing
You'll deliver person-centred care that helps people stay comfortable and independent at home. No two visits are the same. Typical duties include:
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with personal care
Preparing meals and drinks
Supporting with medication (full training given)
Light household tasks, shopping and collecting prescriptions
Encouraging independence and building trusted relationships with the people you support
Where it can lead
Our client promotes from within. As your skills and confidence grow, there are clear routes into roles such as Senior Care Assistant, Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, Team Leader and Registered Manager.
What you'll need
A caring, compassionate and patient nature
Good communication skills and a reliable, professional approach
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential – the role involves travelling between clients)
The right to work in the UK
Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
