About the role
- Competitive Salary
- London
- Permanent
Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is expanding its Cyber M&A practice and hiring an Associate Director to advise private equity sponsors across the deal lifecycle. The team sits at the heart of high-profile transactions, providing cyber and digital risk insight from technical due diligence through the hold period to exit readiness. It is not an insurance-led team: it is built from cyber security, digital forensics, incident response and military backgrounds, working across a global network of M&A cyber specialists.
You will lead cyber due diligence, post-deal reviews and risk assessments, and present findings and recommendations to sponsors, portfolio companies and corporate clients. You will also support pitches, proposals and relationship development. The role needs genuine depth in core cyber domains and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls, plus real M&A, private equity or transaction advisory exposure.
Just as important is the ability to turn technical risk into commercial and investment terms. Purely technical profiles without client-facing confidence are unlikely to be a fit.
