Pay & Shift PM / Late Shift – £17.91 per hour Monday–Wednesday: 14:30 – 00:30 Thursday: 14:30 – 00:00 Friday: No working Fixed PM shift Overtime 1.75x weekday overtime 2.0x weekend overtime Contractor Benefits Annual pay reviews Performance and incentive bonus schemes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Subsidised on-site canteen Modern facilities including showers and cycle storage Regular company events and social activities Free parking Company events Referral programme Role Overview As a Semi-Skilled Mechanical candidate, you will be responsible for the mechanical sub-assembly of components and systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Mechanical sub-assembly of components and systems Using hand tools including spanners, wrenches and screwdrivers Working from mechanical engineering drawings and diagrams Assembly within a manufacturing / production environment Supporting build processes to meet quality and production targets Maintaining a neat, organised and safe working environment Working effectively both independently and as part of a team Requirements * Experience in mechanical sub-assembly * Confident use of a range of hand tools * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Previous experience within manufacturing, production or engineering environments Desirable * Basic industrial plumbing / pipework experience * Basic electrical assembly experience The Successful Candidate Will Ideally, you will be apprenticed or time-served and have experience working within a busy manufacturing or production environment.
