Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance team in the heart of Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys combining management reporting, financial analysis, operational finance and stakeholder support within a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations across the business.

The role also includes responsibility for billing activities and providing cross-team finance support during periods of peak workload or absence.

- £45,000 salary Company pension 36 days annual leave Membership fees covered First move into industry is welcome Key Responsibilities Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and regular financial reporting Analyse financial performance and provide clear insights to stakeholders Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis Manage billing processes and maintain accurate financial records Prepare journals, reconciliations and accounting entries Support payroll, VAT, audit and compliance activities as required Assist with payments, reconciliations, credit control and wider finance operations Provide cross-team finance support during periods of absence or peak workload Contribute to process improvements and finance-related projects Ensure deadlines, controls xwzovoh and service standards are consistently maintained About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous management accounting and reporting experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel and finance systems experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to manage competing priorities independently Apply below or get in touch with Marc at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
