Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds. The company specialises in high-performance industrial coatings and materials, supplying into sectors such as engineering, infrastructure and manufacturing. This is a hands-on role within a process-driven environment, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to develop into more technical positions over time. Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required for 12-hour shifts and potentially weekends) Key Responsibilities: • Supporting the production of specialist materials and coatings • Assisting with machinery and equipment as part of the manufacturing process • Monitoring production processes and ensuring quality standards are met • Handling raw materials and finished products • Following strict health & safety procedures due to the nature of the environment • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace Skills: • Previous experience within manufacturing, production or industrial environments • Comfortable working in a hands-on, process-driven role • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately • Basic understanding of machinery or willingness to learn • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for 12-hour shifts when required
