An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential service in Lewisham. This role is ideal for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the home, ensuring the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations and provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the childrens residential home
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Childrens Homes Regulations, and safeguarding procedures
  • Promote positive outcomes and individual care plans for children and young people
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing care team
  • Monitor staffing, budgets, and operational performance
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and emotional wellbeing are maintained at all times
  • Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain quality assurance standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within childrens residential services
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation
  • Proven leadership xwzovoh and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
