ANZUK Education is working with Secondary schools across Birmingham to recruit confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors for short-term supply opportunities. This is a fantastic role for individuals looking for flexible work within schools while gaining valuable classroom experience in supportive educational settings.
These placements can arise at short notice to cover staff absences, so flexibility and the ability to hit the ground running are key.
About the Role:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
* Supervise classes and ensure pupils remain on task throughout lessons
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
* Support continuity of learning during teacher absence
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
* Be confident managing a classroom independently
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
* Be adaptable, reliable and professional
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be able to work effectively at short notice
