Electrical Design Engineer

NES Fircroft are partnering with our major Engineering & Services client to provide an Electrical Design Engineer for a major Nuclear project. Long-term project with potential for 3+ years work. Mon-Fri minimum 37hrs per week over 4.5 days. Hybrid working available 3 days in Warrington office per week. Overview of the Senior Control Systems Design Engineer: To work within the end client's design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking electrical design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.    Essential: Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer Proven experience successfully delivering as an Electrical Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works: Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing Experience Generating:  Small power cable calculations, both by hand and using Trimble ProDesign (Amtech). Lighting calculations, both by hand and using DIALux evo.
