About the role

Principal Supportability Engineer Bristol Paying up to £87.50p/h (Inside IR35) Key Responsibilities Conduct Supportability Analysis to influence design and ensure the system is and remains supportable to meet Front Line Command user requirements. Assist in collaborating between the MOD (Defence Equipment & Support - DE&S) and industry contractors. Analyse evidence in order to baseline and identify opportunities to improve Resilience, Agility and Preparedness (RAP) during Transition to Conflict (TTC) and Conflict. Understanding of the processes to optimise in-service support solutions and processes (to include Support assurance documentation and obsolescence management). Required Experience Good working knowledge of DEFSTAN 00-600 and S3000 series. Experience in ILS, supportability, or engineering within the defence sector. Experience in the Military Air Environment, preferably in Combat Air.
