About the role

A client of ours in the Stowmarket area are recruiting a Graduate Sales Associate to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm. Paying £27,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to develop a career within technical sales, business development and account management. Please note that you must be able to drive due to travel being a requirement of this role. Key Duties include but are not limited to: Support the generation and development of new business opportunities while learning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to customer handover. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and support account growth activities. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity through the CRM system. Assist with sales and marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives. Promote cutting and welding solutions through customer visits, industry events, and exhibitions. Develop technical product knowledge to provide customers with appropriate product recommendations and solutions. Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure excellent service and support. Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify potential opportunities. Support the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Graduate Sales Associate position: Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related subject. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in sales, business development, and customer relationship management. Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages and willing to learn CRM systems.
