Construction Estimator External Works and Specialist Projects Overview We are looking for a Construction Estimator to join a specialist contractor delivering high quality external works and green infrastructure projects. Landscaping experience is not essential, training will be provided. A strong construction estimating background is key. Key responsibilities * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Produce detailed Bills of Quantities * Prepare accurate cost estimates covering labour, materials, plant, and risk * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations * Compile full tender submissions * Identify risks, assumptions, and cost saving opportunities * Support value engineering and commercial discussions Requirements * Minimum 2 years experience as an Estimator within construction * Strong understanding of construction drawings * Experience producing Bills of Quantities * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Proficient in Excel and estimating software * High attention to detail and strong organisation skills Desirable * Exposure to civils, external works, or landscaping * Interest in green infrastructure or specialist projects What’s on offer * Training into a specialist and growing sector * Supportive and collaborative team * Opportunity to work on high value projects * Competitive salary and benefits Interested?
