Pipelayer (Utilities) - Butt Fusion Experience 📍 Didcot / Thames Valley 💷 Competitive Day Rate (DOE) / Ongoing Work 🕒 Immediate Start Available 🛠️ About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Pipelayers / Main Layers to join an established team working on clean water utilities projects across the Didcot / Thames Valley area. This role involves the installation and renewal of water mains on major infrastructure projects, including work on leading frameworks such as Thames Water. ✅ Key Responsibilities Installation of water mains (MDPE, DI and associated fittings) Carrying out butt fusion and electrofusion welding on HDPE pipe Excavation, bedding, laying, jointing and backfilling Reading and interpreting utility drawings and plans Working safely in trenches and around live services Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and water hygiene 👷‍♂️ Requirements Proven experience as a Pipelayer / Main Layer in utilities Strong experience in butt fusion welding (essential) Knowledge of clean water / potable mains installation Ability to work effectively as part of a team or gang Certifications (preferred but not all essential): CSCS Card EUSR Water Hygiene NRSWA / Streetworks 💷 What We Offer Competitive day rates (dependent on experience) Ongoing, long-term work Opportunity to work on major water infrastructure projects Immediate start for the right candidates 📩 Apply Now If you're an experienced pipelayer with butt fusion experience looking for your next opportunity in the Didcot area, we want to hear from you. 👉 Apply today or get in touch for more information on (phone number removed)
